Delle Jacobs is a seven-time Golden Heart finalist and a three-time winner. She has won numerous awards for her historical and paranormal historical romances, many of which have been best sellers, including Faerie, which reached #1 on Amazon.

Like many other authors, Delle Jacobs has always loved reading. She began creating her own stories at an early age, but for a long time considered it a personal pastime rather than a vocation. Her first novel, Fire Dance, was published in 2000 and led to many others. Most of her published works have been Regency and Medieval Historical romance, but recently, she has returned to one of her favorite settings, the American West.

Delle’s degree in Geography led her to a deep interest in the world and people, and a minor in Anthropology propelled her further to a career in social work with troubled children from troubled families. She combined all of this with deep research and travel, to provide realistic, accurate settings, and characters with depth and beauty of spirit, to produce the kind of stories she loves to read.

When she’s not writing, Delle turns her artistic skills to designing book covers for other authors and publishers. Although best known for her realistic historical designs, she has produced many very successful covers for authors in all genres. For the fun of it, she pursues other crafts and is an expert knitter and seamstress.

Delle lives in Southwest Washington State with family members, and, sadly, for now, only one cat. But she has faith in a family saying, that when you are in need of a cat, the cat will find you. You can find Delle, her widespread family, animals and friends, and her adventurous travels on FaceBook, and her website.
