USA Today Bestselling author Linda McLaughlin writes Western historical and Regency romance under her real name and steamy romance under the pseudonym Lyndi Lamont.

A book junkie and history buff from an early age, she enjoyed listening to her grandmother’s stories of life in the past, including how her ancestors lived in a log cabin and fought in the Civil War. So, it’s only natural she prefers writing historical romance. She loves transporting her readers into the past where her characters learn that, in the journey of life, love is the sweetest reward.

A native of Pittsburgh, PA, she now lives in a south Orange County beach town with her niece and three dogs.
