Kristy Phillips started writing for Montana Sky Publishing in 2017. Her story, Mine to Love, takes place a day’s ride from Sweetwater Springs in Copper Creek. Kristy is an avid historian and based her characters on real historic figures from the mining boom in Montana in the late 1800s.

Kristy’s son is an actor on a western television show that happens to shoot in Montana, and during the months they are filming, Kristy explores the local area and writes writes writes! Her next book in the Copper Creek series will be out in 2019!
